8 am - 4 pm:  Sac-Petén Lake & Archeological Site and Ixlu Archeological Site - hike or horseback ride.

8 am:  Petencito Zoo - Located on an island in the lake

12 pm: lunch in Flores

2 pm: Aktun Kan Caves

5 am: Tikal - Sunrise on temple tops; guided tour; lunch amongst the ruins; museum.

5 pm: Depart to Uaxactun for dinner and accommodations.

8 am - 5 pm:

Mayan (wood, stone or bone) Carving - Learn how to choose your materials and carve your own Mayan souvenir.

5 am: Topoxte - Guided tour of a Mayan City built on an island.

11 am:  Fish for your own lunch

6 pm: Yaxha for dinner and accommodations

5 am:  Sunrise on the temples; guided tour of the astrological city of Uaxactun.  Lunch amongst the ruins.

4 pm: Return to El Remate

 5 am:  Ixlu River - sunrise boat tour to estuary of birds and crocodiles.

8:00 am - 2:00 pm:  Finca Los Chultunes - a Reforestation Research Farm

5 am - 4 pm:  Spend the day exploring amongst the temples of Yaxha

Depart by public bus for guided tour of the Island of Flores; lunch and shopping in market of Santa Elena.

Biotopo Cerro Cahui - guided eco-hike to the top of the mountain for a breathtaking view.  Lunch amongst the ruins in the Casa Mobego Bird Sanctuary.

7:30 pm:  Marimba Band

Free Day:  say good-bye to friends, write your notes, go for a final swim, hug your favorite tree, pack.

6 pm:  Final Night Dinner

7:30 pm:  Mayan Folk Dancers

Free Day: hike, bike, wash your clothes, write your notes, spend a day in town or just swing in a hammock with the bird-song and orchid-scent, waiting for the awe-inspiring sunset.

Free Day:  swim and sunbathe, take a ride in a kayak, talk with the people gathered at the local store, buy souvenirs, meditate to the awe- inspiring sunset.
