·         This Eco-Mayan Experience can be customized to suit the needs or desires of the group with a heavier focus on any one of the following three areas.

Each of these areas overlaps considerably:

-          Ecology … perhaps with a special focus on a specific plant(s) or animal(s) such as orchids and bromeliads, mushrooms, healing plants, birds, butterflies, crocodiles, serpents, monkeys).  A specialization in this area would of necessity involve overnighting in the jungle.

-         Archeology … with visits to several other Mayan sites than those included in the standard tour.  This specialization would entail trips into the jungle of several days, with camping conditions prevailing.

-          Culture - with more emphasis put on working with the community on projects of development or studying one of a variety of specialized courses such as Mayan Architecture and Construction, Spanish, Mayan textiles, wood or stone carving.

·         Your Experiential Journey can be customized to suit the time frame available.  Longer tours would allow time for longer trips, deeper into the jungle to less accessible sites.
